No bad vibes allowed…

Life is short, Break the Rules. Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly. Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that makes you smile.
– Mark Twain

Somewhere I read this quote and it made me thoughtful – it is so wise and definitely true. Some weeks and months have passed by and maybe some of you thought, why she didn’t posted something on her blog. Well, good question and I really have no good excuse. However, I think I just enjoyed the summer in this beautiful city Hamburg (I even tried stand up paddling on the Alster ! 😀 ), went on holidays and met friends, who I haven’t seen since years (at this point: I love you girls – thanks for the great weekend. 🙂 ).  Moments like this are priceless. There is so much love and happiness. And even when there are days or periods, where you’re down… those memories will always light up your day! But the most cheerful message I could get this year, was the birth of my uncles’ son. This cute little human being – such a present. So you see, many things happened since I posted the last blog entry and I was kind of busy…

I had some unforgettable days at the sunny island Fuerteventura with my family and things were perfect. The summer was just great. And even if my lovely friend Juli left the city (By the way: I miss you, my dear ❤ ), I still can say that I am happy to live here. And to return to Twains’ quote: One should enjoy every bit of life. I tried to exactly do this – I focused on the bright side of life, had a lot of fun, enjoyed life to the fullest and spent time with my loved ones. Of course there were days, filled with negative vibes,… but “every cloud has a silver lining” 🙂

…I guess, the quote of Twain is so deep and wise, I could write stories over stories about it. But I will stop right now and let you guys think about the quote and its meaning. Always keep in mind: Life’s too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people, who treat you right. Forgive, forget and believe that everything happens for a reason.

xx, Natalie
